The Burroughs Waffletechnology cleaning card was specifically developed in cooperation with Burroughs to clean the SmartSource^® series (except the adaptive). This Waffletechnology cleaning card is the only preventive maintenance cleaning card on the market that can successfully maintain Burroughs Branded Check Scanners and is the only card officially approved by Burroughs

As the Waffletechnology cleaning card transports through the check scanner's paper path, the card will clean the sensitive magnetic heads, optical scanner lenses and transport rollers. The Waffletechnology cleaning card will remove endorsement ink, paper flash and other debris from the scanners check pathways. This superior cleaning card is embraced by Burroughs to outperform flat style cleaning cards. 

Regular preventative maintenance will help keep your scanner operating at maximum efficiency and result in fewer bad check images and MICR character misreads. That means fewer returns and fewer re-scans. It is recommended to use one card per week per device (or every 2,000 checks) - consulting your owners guide for additional information.
